FOOD FEST — Angelenos’ fave food fest is back with a new sponsor, new venue (Metro-friendly Exposition Park!), new events including chef-driven meals at the pop-up restaurant in the Rose Garden (see above photo), and new pricing: try the all-in VIP experience or the low-cost, have-it-your-way foodie adventure with 100+ food, beverage, beer, wine and craft cocktail vendors to choose from.  Through Sunday 7/10

 

 

GARAGISTE WINE FESTIVAL — Once denigrated as renegades , now celebrated as artisans, the garagiste movement of winemakers has expanded from the Bordeaux region of France to the world…and this Saturday only, the Metro-friendly Wiltern Theatre.  Many of the sixty, participating, high-quality, limited production winemakers don’t have tasting rooms so this is a rare opportunity to sample the work of passionate vintners all in one place.  Saturday, July 9

LOS ANGELES SALSA FESTIVAL — FREE to attend!  Enjoy live music, dancing and an interactive Kids Zone at this two-day, family friendly fest in Metro-friendly Pershing Square in DTLA. Purchase food from local vendors as well as tickets for the Salsa Tasting Tent and the Beer & Margarita Bar.  Saturday, July 9 & Sunday, July 10

RENEGADE CRAFT FAIR — FREE to attend! Two days and 275+ makers and creators in beautiful. Metro-friendly Grand Park in DTLA.  Special ice cream tasting with Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream! LOTUS

 

 

ECHO PARK LOTUS FESTIVAL — FREE to attend!  Korean culture is the focus of the 36th annual festival, which includes an Asian Food Court, Japanese tea house, Dragon Boat races, taiko drumming, traditional and contemporary dance performances and, of course, the eponymous lotus and other aquatic plants. Saturday, July 9 & Sunday, July 10.
