Most wonderful time of the year?
Bah, humbug; you’d rather be dragging around Jacob Marley’s chains than face another crazed mall crawl, syrupy elevator carol, or bad cup of eggnog sans booze.
Ready for some REAL Xmas fun?

A Short but Sweet Night
The Winter Solstice is this weekend and you know what that means: a night of debauchery, crime, and an execution.
Oh wait…that was Ancient Rome.
This Saturday’s Solstice of Dreamers from the Lucent Dossier Experience may not have a human sacrifice on the agenda but otherwise, (almost) anything goes when the multi-faceted company brings its usual collection of wild and whimsical sideshow-meets-cabaret acts to the Fonda Theatre. In addition to their always-fantastic, immersive milieu with (among others) aerial, contortionist, and acrobatic displays, the Solstice celebration features music from the soon-to-be-solo DJ’s, the Black 22’s.
A musical duo whose name couldn’t be more appropriate for the blackest night of the year….
LUCENT DOSSIER EXPERIENCE – “SOLSTICE OF DREAMERS” — Sat, Dec 21 @ 9 pm; $30 — Henry Fonda Theatre, 6126 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood 90028 http://www.lucentdossier.com/
