Go Go’ers, you couldn’t be more thankful that you survived Turkey Day without going into a coma. (All those relatives. All that liquor.)
Read on for ways to reward yourself for non-coma, entertain the out-of-town hordes, and have fun while shopping.
The latter: not an oxymoron.
Post-Gobble Gambol
Kick butt post-Turkey Day with Dan Koeppel and an Epic 15-Mile Hike that includes stairways, bridges, streets, sights, and over seven miles of urban dirt trail.
Koeppel, creator of The Big Parade, assures the faint of heart (or weak of legs) that there’s an easy, mass-transit-assisted “early exit” midway through Friday’s hike, which starts and ends at the Chinatown Metro Gold Line.
Or keep an eye on the Epic Walk Facebook page for deets about how to join the group along the way; Koeppel notes that he’ll be providing instructions.
In other words, permission to be a cheater….
