Go Go Gourmands of all ages, mark your calendars!
Auntie Em’s Kitchen, the fresher than fresh, usually-breakfast-and-lunch-only Eastside cafe, is having a spring Farmer’s Market Dinner on Tuesday, April 13th. That may seem far away but these luscious dinners, which look as good as they taste, sell out fast, fast, fast, even with two seatings.
Babies and children (along with their well-behaved parents) will no doubt want to take note of the earlier 6:30PM seating and can look forward to a special $8 child’s plate of citrus and beet salad, PLUS Mediterranean meze feast entree (made in house) OR leg of lamb stuffed with garlic, olives, leeks, spinach and fresh herbs, with asparagus and pea tendrils PLUS a special dessert!
In addition to the above salad and choice of entree, grown-up diners will also enjoy a specially chosen cheese plate and a trio of cream puffs filled with chocolate mousse, orange mousse, and strawberry mousse and accompanied by a pot of dipping chocolate, all for $45. The meal will be paired with selections from nearby Colorado Wine Company. (Babies and children will, presumably, enjoy other liquid refreshment.) There’s also an 8:30PM seating for working adults and pint-sized, Night Owl Gourmands.
